INTRSECT is a widely applied platform for cell type-specific targeting, with more than 260 publications from independent laboratories worldwide. Investigators have used INTRSECT to enable experiments spanning neural circuit mapping, activity manipulation, functional imaging, anatomical tracing, and molecular interrogation across nearly every major division of the nervous system, including cortex, hippocampus, basal ganglia, hypothalamus, brainstem, cerebellum, spinal cord, peripheral ganglia, and retina.
